iPhone 18 Pro Photos Leaked on Dark Web After Tata Breach

Leaked photos of the iPhone 18 Pro have emerged on the dark web following a data breach at Tata Electronics, one of Apple's major suppliers. The Verge reported that the leaked images show a drop test of what sources claim is the iPhone 18 Pro, featuring an Apple logo and three visible cameras. The leak includes over 200,000 files, with documents also concerning Tesla, another Tata client.

Breach Details and Response

The breach was confirmed by Tata Electronics last week. Security researchers identified ransomware group World Leaks as responsible for posting the files. Among the leaked data are images of the iPhone 18 Pro, six files detailing hundreds of components used in Apple devices, a list of suppliers, and board layouts for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. Data sheets for the rumoured A20 Pro chip were also included, according to AppleInsider.

Apple's Concerns

The Verge reports that Apple is concerned about the documents being shared on the dark web, though the company has not publicly commented. The exposure of these future iPhone plans could give rivals and counterfeiters access to Apple's technology and future strategies, potentially undermining the company's fiercely protected product development.
