For monthly contracts, the cheapest option is from Sky Mobile at £17 per month over 36 months, with £12 upfront and just 100MB of data. That works out at 63p a day, but the data is limited to around 10 minutes of Instagram browsing. Adding a £2 data plan gives 1GB for £19 monthly.
A better deal for data comes from Mobiles.co.uk, offering the iPhone 16e for £24.99 per month with 500GB of data on a 24-month contract with no upfront cost. This is a Black Friday promotion with 5x the usual data. For unlimited data and free Apple AirPods 4, the price rises to £26.99 monthly with £126 upfront.
GiffGaff offers a £70 price cut on the handset, with £14.70 per month for the phone over 36 months and data from £10 monthly for 20GB on a rolling contract. There are no annual price increases, and shoppers can cancel the data plan at any time.
Three, one of the big four networks, offers the iPhone 16e for £25 upfront and £14.67 per month for 36 months, plus £12 for 15GB of data, totalling £26.67 monthly. This includes access to Three+ Rewards, offering perks like £1 coffee and food discounts.
