Performance Boost for Older Models
Performance issues are a frequent complaint for iPhone owners with older devices. Over time, devices can feel increasingly stuttery, especially after Apple releases its annual iOS update in September. CPU Scheduler: The Key Feature

Thanks to a feature called the CPU scheduler, older models like the iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 will also experience a smoother and faster performance. The CPU scheduler works by allocating maximum processing power to the app currently in use on the screen, rather than powering all background processes. By constantly adjusting performance, users will enjoy a much better experience when using their devices.
Extended Longevity for Aging Devices
While the exact effectiveness remains to be seen, Apple is confident that this update will add longevity to aging devices, reducing the need to upgrade iPhones that are still in good condition.
