EA Sports has officially unveiled EA FC 27, confirming Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham as cover stars for an all-new extra premium Ultimate Plus Edition. The game will launch on Friday, September 25 worldwide, with early access starting September 18 for those who pre-order the Ultimate Edition or Ultimate Plus Edition.
Pricing and Editions
The Standard Edition is priced at £69.99 (£59.99 on PC), the Ultimate Edition at £99.99 (£89.99 on PC), and the new Ultimate Plus Edition at £139.99 (£129.99 on PC via Steam only). EA Play subscribers and EA FC 26 owners get discounts on digital pre-orders. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and previous-generation consoles Xbox One and PlayStation 4. However, some next-gen features, including The Grounds, are exclusive to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
Ultimate Plus Edition Bonuses
The Ultimate Plus Edition, fronted by both Bellingham and Mbappe, is only available for pre-order until August 31. It includes 10,000 FC Points (distributed across 5 monthly drops), a Premium Pass for Seasons 1 through 5, a Hall of FUT Player Pick (1 of 5), and a Player EVO for EA SPORTS FC 26 that boosts physical attributes to 99. New Features
The headline new feature is The Grounds, an open-world social football mode expanding on Clubs. Players can roam districts inspired by London, Paris, and South America, competing in casual or high-stakes matches, guided by mentors Kylian Mbappe, Chloe Kelly, Paulo Dybala, and Alex Hunter. The Manager Career mode features a new transfer market powered by TransferRoom, with player values scaling based on form, potential, overall rating, and club finances. Another addition is the FUT Gallery, a sticker book-style collection mode where players complete themed sets to boost their Gallery Level and unlock rewards.
