Charlotte Tilbury launches Airbrush Flawless Blur Loose Powder

Charlotte Tilbury has launched the Airbrush Flawless Blur Loose Powder, an ultra-fine setting powder designed to blur the look of pores, smooth skin and lock makeup in place while providing up to 24 hours of shine control. The lightweight, skincare-infused formula comes in seven shades and promises a soft-focus, airbrushed finish without looking cakey or dry. It is available for £40.

Inspired by the bestselling pressed powder

The new formula is inspired by the brand's bestselling pressed powder and is designed to blur, smooth and brighten the skin while locking makeup in place. It aims to minimise the appearance of pores, texture and fine lines, without looking cakey or heavy.

Sarah Bradbury, Junior Publisher at Metro, has been testing the product for months and describes it as one of those products she doesn't want to be without. She notes that while she has always preferred a loose powder formula, she remained loyal to Charlotte Tilbury's pressed Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder because of the finish it gave. Now, the beauty brand has combined the best of both worlds.

Seven shades with brightening options

The powder comes in seven shades, including Brightening Pink and Brightening Peach, which have been specifically developed to brighten the under-eye area. Sarah has been using Brightening Pink, ideal for fair to medium skin tones, under her eyes, alongside Translucent Blur Filter across the rest of her face to set her makeup for the day.

She reports that the powder instantly brightens her under-eye area, helping her look more awake, while softening the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Unlike some loose powders she has tried, it never feels dry or chalky. Instead, it melts into the skin, setting makeup without dulling the glow underneath, resulting in a blurred, soft-focus finish that still looks like real skin.

Tester results and shine control

According to Charlotte Tilbury, 96% of testers agreed their skin looked airbrushed and 94% said it appeared hyper-blurred after use. The formula also promises up to 24 hours of oil and shine control while remaining lightweight and comfortable on the skin.

For fans of the Airbrush franchise, this feels like the natural next step. Those who have been waiting for Charlotte Tilbury to bring out a loose powder version of her bestselling pressed formula may find it was worth the wait.
