Bose has confirmed it is bringing back wired earbuds with the launch of its Bose Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds, priced at just £99. The price makes them cheaper than most wireless alternatives, including Apple's latest AirPods, which cost at least £119.
Features and design
The earbuds do not need charging and feature simple controls on the cord. They offer premium features, including full Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Owners can plug them into a device via USB-C and start listening without pairing over Bluetooth, which could be especially useful for anyone switching between Android and iPhone devices.
The direct wired connection enables low-latency performance, keeping sound in sync while watching videos, gaming, or creating content. The earbuds include a 4.2-foot cable, soft silicone eartips in small, medium, and large sizes, and medium and large stability wings for added comfort.
Availability
“Wired earbuds are experiencing a cultural renaissance, and when we decided to bring them back, we knew we had to make them even better than before,” said Raza Haider, president of Bose Premium Consumer Audio. “Technology has come a long way since our last wired earbuds, allowing us the opportunity to bring our latest advancements to the category and set a new standard for what wired earbuds can be.”
The Bose Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds will start shipping on October 15 and will be available in Black or White Smoke, with a limited-edition Dewdrop Mint option.
