Car expert Luke Chillingsworth has declared BMW the outright winner among four major household car brands: BMW, Audi, Kia, and Ford. Writing for Express.co.uk, he argued that while all four manufacturers produce excellent vehicles, BMW stands out as the true driver's choice.

Chillingsworth emphasized that BMWs are fun to drive, sporty, and engaging, yet classy enough to keep passengers comfortable. He highlighted the BMW 3 Series as a prime example, calling it one of the best executive cars on the road. The 181bhp 320i petrol engine achieves 0-62mph in 7.4 seconds and a top speed of 146mph, while the 288bhp 330e plug-in hybrid does the same sprint in just 5.9 seconds.
BMW's rear-wheel-drive layout delivers beautifully weighted cornering, he noted, and the 3 Series interior features a 14.9-inch central touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and 480 litres of boot space.
Versatility of the BMW Range
The expert pointed out that BMW offers a wide range of models, from compact coupés like the 1 and 2 Series to SUVs in the X Series. “There really is something for everyone,” he wrote.
In contrast, Audi models rely on front-wheel drive, making them slightly less fun behind the wheel. Ford and Kia are more affordable and popular—the Ford Puma has sold nearly 30,000 units this year—but they are more sensible and less exciting. “The Ford and Kia is like the sensible uncle at the wedding, and not the bride,” Chillingsworth remarked.
