Best Robot Vacuums 2025: Tried and Tested for Your Home
Best Robot Vacuums 2025: Tried and Tested

Stuart Pritchard has tested 10 robot vacuum cleaners in his home, which features hardwood, tile, acrylic and carpet flooring. He evaluated each model on suction power (measured in Pascals), ease of use, guidance system, mopping performance, and price.

Tapo RV50 Pro Omni: Best Overall

Rated five stars, the Tapo RV50 Pro Omni is priced at £399. It offers 15,000Pa of suction, a maximum runtime of 250 minutes, and can cover up to 200m² of hardwood, carpet and tiled flooring. It features dual rotating mop pads, a HEPA filter, and an auto-emptying base station with a 3-litre dustbin. The base station includes an automatic hair-cutting mechanism. Downsides include occasional collisions, noisy emptying, and the need for proprietary detergent.

Ultenic T20 Pro: Best Budget Buy

Priced at £226, the Ultenic T20 Pro offers 8000Pa of suction and a runtime of over 180 minutes. It includes mopping, auto-emptying, and AI LiDAR navigation. It has a 3.5-litre base dustbin and a HEPA filter. It can struggle to find its way back to charge, auto-emptying is noisy, and it only connects with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.

Shark PowerDetect UV Reveal: Best for Mopping

Rated five stars, the Shark PowerDetect UV Reveal is priced at £639. It uses sensor-driven auto-adjusting suction power called Dirt Detect, covering areas up to 290m² with up to 180 minutes runtime. It has a 380ml onboard dustbin and a 1.5-litre base dustbin. The UV Reveal feature can detect dirt invisible to the eye, including pet piddle and sweat. It can leave floors overly wet and obstacle detection is over-sensitive.

iRobot Roomba Mini: Best for Small Homes

Priced at £379, the iRobot Roomba Mini measures 24.5 x 24.5 x 9.2cm and produces 7000Pa of suction. It can cover 130m² for up to 75 minutes. It uses AllergenLock bags for self-emptying. It struggles with low-pile carpet and the bodywork is susceptible to scuffs and scrapes.

EcoVac DeeBot T90 Pro Omni: Best for Pure Power

Priced at £699, the EcoVac DeeBot T90 Pro Omni boasts 30,000Pa of suction, covering 500m² with 350 minutes runtime on hardwood. It features the Ozmo Roller 3.0 mopping system, a 3.5-litre base station, and ZeroTangle technology. Navigation uses LiDAR and the AIVI 3D system, but cleaning takes longer if the room is cluttered. It is controllable via Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, or the built-in Agent Yiko assistant.

Mova Z60 Ultra Roller: Best for All Surfaces

Priced at £569, the Mova Z60 Ultra Roller offers 210 minutes runtime and covers 200m². It features a HEPA filter, a 220ml dustbin on the bot, and a 3.2-litre bin on the base. It uses Dual-Laser 3D Structured Light and RGB AI object avoidance. The LiftPro Chassis helps it climb over low barriers. It is expensive and quite slow.

Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller: Best Self-Navigating

Priced at £599, the Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller has 30,000Pa of suction and a runtime of roughly 180 minutes. It uses the AstroVision System with AI, RGB, and LED for navigation. It has a 3.2-litre base dustbin and a HEPA filter. It is expensive and navigation is precise but slow.

Hobot LEGEE Q10: Best with Tank Tracks

Priced at £199, the Hobot LEGEE Q10 features 5000 Pascals of suction and a runtime of up to 150 minutes. It has a 400ml dustbin and tank tracks for tackling thresholds. There is no base station for auto-emptying, and obstacle avoidance is poor. It only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.

Eufy C28: Best Value for Money

Priced at £649, the Eufy C28 offers 15,000Pa of suction and a runtime of 216 minutes for vacuuming alone, or 123 minutes for vacuum and mop. It features a HEPA filter, the HydroJet mop system, and a base station with a 3-litre dustbin. Obstacle avoidance is subpar, and the taller profile stops it getting under low furniture.

Karcher RCV 5: Best with Rapid Mapping

Priced at £549, the Karcher RCV 5 has a suction rate of 5000Pa and a runtime of 120 minutes. It can cover up to 170m² on a single charge. It has a 330ml dustbin and no base station. Navigation and obstacle avoidance are good, but it struggles on carpet.

According to Pritchard, the Tapo RV50 Pro Omni hits the sweet spot with its price/performance ratio. Had it not been for the Tapo price drop, the Eufy C28 would have been the top pick for its performance and features.
