The rare £3.7 million Aston Martin Valkyrie Spider is currently on display in the window of Fenwick in Newcastle, drawing crowds of window shoppers. The hypercar, one of only 85 in the world, is finished in a striking Podium Green and will remain on view until Tuesday, July 14.
How the Car Got Into the Store
Installing the vehicle required removing the doors at the store's Blackett Street entrance on Tuesday morning before opening. The big reveal the following day attracted a large crowd. Since Wednesday, thousands of people have seen the car up close from behind a rope barrier and taken photos.
Specifications and Display Details
The Valkyrie Spider is described as one of the most extreme road-legal hypercars ever created. It is powered by a 1,155-horsepower hybrid V12 powertrain capable of exceeding 205 mph with the roof removed. The display is part of a new partnership between Fenwick and luxury car dealership Aston Martin to offer a unique customer experience.
Upcoming Displays
After the Valkyrie Spider's display ends on July 14, an Aston Martin Vanquish Volante will be on show from July 14 to July 20. Kieran McBride, store director at Fenwick, said: "Both of our brands are synonymous with quality, craftsmanship and creating memorable experiences, making this a natural collaboration. Hosting the Aston Martin Valkyrie Spider and Vanquish Volante within our iconic Blackett Street windows offers our customers something truly unique in the heart of Newcastle this summer."

The partnership also includes an in-store collaboration with a BOSS and Aston Martin collection, and a competition to win two tickets to the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2027 for MyFenwick Rewards loyalty members.
