Arsenal transfer news: Haaland stance revealed as £9m Brazil teen eyed
Arsenal news: Haaland stance, £9m Brazil teen target

Arsenal are reportedly keeping an eye on Erling Haaland's situation at Manchester City, while also tracking a Brazilian teenager who could be available for around £9 million.

According to TEAMtalk, the Gunners would evaluate the circumstances if the Norwegian striker became available, should Manchester City face expulsion from the Premier League. However, the same outlet reports that Haaland has not considered leaving the Etihad and remains fully committed to City.

Haaland's stance on a move

Haaland's Norway team-mate, Kristoffer Ajer, insists the prolific forward has remained unaffected by the ruling and is not contemplating a move away. The Brentford defender said: "He's been exactly the way he's always the same with the national team. He's truly focused on the upcoming games. I think he's trying to do the same as everyone else, wait and see what the outcome is...that's clearly been his way of doing it."

When questioned about any shift in Haaland's behaviour, Ajer responded: "No not at all. Ever since I met him brings lot of energy and joy to the group. The biggest compliment I always give is that he hasn't changed a bit from the moment I met him even though he's the biggest star on the planet right now. He's been exactly the same the last few days as well which is not a surprise for me."

Arsenal's £9m bargain target

Arsenal have reportedly joined Chelsea and City in tracking Vasco da Gama prospect Breno Sales. The 16-year-old has garnered interest from across Europe, with a recent offer of nearly £9 million turned down, according to Brazilian media. He started his career as a forward before converting to left-back and subsequently transitioning into a more central role. This season, Sales has featured 17 times and found the net once.

He secured victory in the Under-17 Copa do Brazil last year and has established himself as a consistent presence in Brazil's youth international setup. The youngster is expected to feature in the U17 World Cup in Qatar next month.
