Apple's 2nd generation AirTag has been reduced on Amazon, with a single pack now costing £25 (down from £29) and a four-pack priced at £79 (down from £99). The discount arrives just before an anticipated major Apple announcement on September 9, which could see a new range of iPhones unveiled worldwide.
Tracking Features and Battery Life
The AirTags work with the FindMy app, allowing users to locate items on an interactive map and by playing a sound. Compared to the previous generation, the 2nd generation AirTag features a 50% louder speaker and a new distinctive chime to make finding items easier.
The devices come with a long battery life, lasting over a year on a standard battery. When the battery runs out, a notification is sent to the user's phone, and the battery can be replaced easily thanks to the user-friendly design.
Alternative Tracker Options
For those without an iPhone, the Hauibela Air Tracker is reduced on Amazon from £15.99 to £11.99. This tracker works via Bluetooth and includes a built-in speaker, though Android is not supported.
Android users can opt for the HH-Tech Dual System Smart Tracker Tag, available for £13.99. It works with most Android devices, excluding Huawei devices running HarmonyOS.

One shopper wrote: "Decided to upgrade after listening to what the experts were saying and am more than pleased with the results, and yes there is a marked difference in the accuracy and finding your lost item. Do believe it’s iPhones only that it works with though."
