Faraaz Noor, a finalist from the fourth series of the hit BBC show The Traitors, has declared a Newcastle restaurant a 10/10 after an 'extraordinary' meal. The Teessider visited St Sushi on Westgate Road and shared his rave review on his foodie Instagram account, faznooreats.
Faraaz's Favourite Dishes
Among the dishes he ordered were grilled salmon head, seared tuna nigiri, and grilled eel. After one bite of the eel, he remarked: 'I tell you what...that eel is delectable.' In a video of his visit, he added: 'Wow - this meal was delightful. The eel was extraordinary and that salmon head was immaculate, such a treat.'
10/10 Rating for St Sushi
Urging his followers to visit, Faraaz wrote: 'The sushi so fresh and great prices, this place is a must!!! 10/10.' St Sushi already has plenty of favourable reviews online, and Faraaz's endorsement adds to its reputation.
From Traitors to Foodie Fame
Before appearing on The Traitors, Faraaz ran his own foodie account, which he has continued to update since the show. He came close to victory in the fourth series, which aired in January, but was double-crossed by eventual winner Rachel. She convinced him she would vote out fellow Traitor Stephen, but instead the two Traitors stuck together, leading to Faraaz's downfall.
