The HOMCOM Ceramic Space Heater is on sale at The Range for £37.99, in black or white, available for home delivery and in-store collection. The store says it can keep homes “always kept cosy” by spreading heat over “larger areas” without needing to switch on the central heating.
Heating features and controls
Describing the device online, The Range said: “Features a low and high heating mode to cater for milder and colder times, with a 15-40°C thermostat temperature to ensure you're always kept at a cosy warmth - there's no need to keep changing the settings once happy. The 45-degree oscillating function means the heat spreads over a larger area, heating your space more efficiently. Complete with LED panel and remote for easy control.”
Similar devices on sale include a Tower Heater from John Lewis at £50 and the Bush 2kW Digi Oscillating Tower Fan Heater from Argos at £60. There are no reviews for the HOMCOM device on The Range's website currently, but it is also listed on Amazon with a range of shopper reviews.

One reviewer said: “Great little heater, I was sceptical as I have a big room, but it warms it in minutes, a bit noisy but no more than a fan. I'm very happy and would recommend.”
Another wrote: “I am so impressed with this heater. It pumps out lots of heat, and warms up a full bedroom and an ensuite without much effort, also. I like white noise to sleep, and this gives me just the right amount of noise to help with sleep. I love love love this, and I am so happy I purchased this!”

Mixed reviews but mostly positive
Some shoppers did report problems. One claimed: “Switches off after 5 to 10 minutes. Heat output terrible.” Another said: “This fan is an absolute disaster—it's so loud it’s unusable, completely ruining any chance of focusing or relaxing.”
Despite these criticisms, most found it worth the investment. One five-star review said: “Size price timer. Everything is so good, the heat is brilliant for the size, plus very easy to use.”
