A Tesco employee has sparked a social media storm after posting a video of herself ranting about her job while preparing for a shift. Jade Pinner, 19, from Basildon, Essex, filmed herself spitting and punching the air as she complained about facing customers after a sleepless night.
In the footage, posted on TikTok, Pinner can be heard saying: 'Girls, I'm not going to lie to you. I've had no sleep. And I'm working till ten tonight.' She then mimics a shopper asking for directions, shouting: 'Why don't you look at what it says on the f***ing board instead of asking me what aisle butter is in!'
Pinner, who quit her job a month after the video was taken, said she had been on a night out and was 'so tired'. She told Mail Online: 'I hated the fact that I had to stack shelves and carry milk that was twice my size because I'm only 4”11 and it was really heavy.'
The video has garnered over 400,000 views on Twitter, with many users expressing sympathy. One commented: 'She's relating to millions of people working in retail no one likes it but have to do it.' Another added: 'I get her..... I exist at 75% of this level daily.'
Pinner, who has over 52,000 followers on TikTok, said she made the account because she was 'bored' and is 'buzzing' the video went viral.
