Tesco Extends Kids Eat Free Scheme with 65p Clubcard Rule to 330 Stores
Tesco Kids Eat Free Scheme Extended with 65p Clubcard Rule

Tesco has announced a new 65p rule across hundreds of stores, enabling children to eat for free through an extension of its Kids Eat Free scheme. For the first time, the offer includes weekends, running from June 25 until September 1 in over 330 participating Tesco stores across the UK.

How the Deal Works

Children can receive a free Kids Hot Meal Deal, Kids Breakfast, or Kids Pick 'n' Mix deal with any full-price adult purchase when bought with a Clubcard. There is no minimum spend for the adult purchase, and no limit on the number of kids' meals that can be redeemed. According to Tesco, the adult purchase could be as small as an apple costing just 65p.

Menu Options

Menu items include breakfast options such as Pancakes and Egg and Soldiers, as well as main meals including Chicken Strips, Fish Fingers, and Pork Sausages. The price of children's meals in The Café and The Coffee Shop has also been lowered, following the government's decision to slash VAT on children's meals and activities this summer.

Support for Families

Claire De Silva, head of communities at Tesco, said: “We know that household budgets can be really stretched, especially over the long summer holiday, so offering free meals to children during this time is just one of the ways we can support families.”

Additional Summer Offer

Tesco is also bringing back Free Fruit for Kids over the summer period. At over 800 Tesco stores, children will be able to grab a free apple while their parents shop.
