Tesco is launching a new promotion, giving away millions of coupons for free products starting from today. The coupons will be available every Thursday in the Clubcard members' Tesco app, with the first freebie being a 150g bag of Walkers Sensations crisps.

However, not everyone will receive a coupon. Selected customers will be chosen based on their past shopping habits. If the coupon appears in your Tesco app, you have one week to scan it at the checkout in store to claim your treat. Tesco says nearly one million Clubcard members will receive a free coupon for Walkers Sensations today.
Upcoming Freebies
Over the coming weeks, there will be a new freebie each Thursday. The coupons are only redeemable in stores. Over the coming weeks we will be giving away Tesco and branded products that our customers love just in time for the World Cup, kicking off with Sensations. I’d urge everyone to check under the Clubcard tab on their Tesco app to see if they’ve been selected for this week’s coupon. But don’t worry if you have not got a coupon this time, as millions more customers will be getting Freebie Thursdays coupons on exciting products from us this summer.”
Clubcard Voucher Details
This promotion follows £17 million worth of Clubcard vouchers that expired at the end of last month. Tesco sends out Clubcard vouchers every three months—in February, May, August, and November—and they are valid for two years. Shoppers earn one Clubcard point for every £1 spent in stores, or one point for every two litres of fuel purchased at a Tesco forecourt. Points can also be collected through Tesco Bank and Tesco Mobile. For example, you get five points for every £4 spent using a Clubcard Credit Card at Tesco, or one point for every £8 spent elsewhere. Tesco Mobile customers earn one Clubcard point for every £1 spent on pay monthly bills or top-ups. A minimum of 150 points is needed to get a Clubcard voucher, worth £1.50 to spend in Tesco. You can increase the value of your vouchers by doubling or tripling them when used with a Rewards Partner, such as Pizza Express, Alton Towers, or Hotels.com.
