Tesco has confirmed new items will be added to its meal deal range from October 12, following an announcement on Monday, October 5. The supermarket's festive line-up includes a mix of new "indulgent" choices and returning festive "favourites."
The announcement comes as Tesco's research found that over a third (35%) of Brits agree that their favourite type of sandwich is a Christmas sandwich. The 2026 festive range aims to bring together sandwiches, wraps, salads, snacks and drinks, giving customers plenty of ways to mix-and-match their meal deal.
New festive meal deal items
New main options include the Tesco Fully Loaded Chicken, Stuffing, Braised Red Cabbage and Cranberry Sauce Sandwich, which contains chicken, smoky bacon, rosemary gravy, sage and onion stuffing, and a layer of red cabbage. Tesco says it delivers the "best bits of Christmas dinner together in one hearty, flavour-packed bite."
Other new mains are the Tesco Finest Turkey Pastrami Panettone Style Roll, combining turkey pastrami with Emmental cheese and pickled red slaw inside a panettone-style roll, and the Tesco Christmas Triple Sandwich, inspired by three seasonal food moments: Christmas lunch, a cheeseboard, and a Boxing Day buffet.
For an alternative, the new Tesco Chicken, Brie, Bacon and Cranberry Caesar Salad features chicken, Brie, smoky bacon and cranberry. New sides include the Tesco Pretzels with Salted Caramel Dip and the Tesco Cinnamon Bun Overnight Oats, which combines oats with cinnamon, Greek-style yoghurt, and a soft cheese frosting.
Additional products and charity partnership
Further new items include the Tesco Finest Honey Roasted Gammon Ham and Barber’s Cheddar Sandwich, the Tesco Pork Meatball Wrap with smoky sage and onion mayonnaise, Tesco Mini Cheese Twists with Cheddar Cheese Dip, and Tesco Chicken and Stuffing Dip with Mini Toasts.
A new drink, the Tesco Finest Spiced Apple and Pear Lemonade, offers a blend of apple, pear and lemon, spiced with vanilla and nutmeg. Tesco is also partnering with Coca-Cola this Christmas, with Coca-Cola Europacific Partners donating 20p to Felix for every festive meal deal purchased with any 500ml Coca-Cola product. Felix, formerly FareShare and The Felix Project, is a UK food redistribution charity.
Pricing and availability
The Tesco Christmas Meal Deal, including a main, snack and drink, is available in stores and online from October 12, priced at £3.85 with a Clubcard (£4.25 without). The Tesco Premium Meal Deal is available from £5.50 with a Clubcard (£6 without).
