Superdrug's £2 Lush Dupe Sends Shoppers Wild for Sticky Dates Scent
Superdrug's £2 Lush 'Sticky Dates' Dupe Goes Viral

A savvy beauty fan has sent TikTok into a frenzy after revealing a remarkably affordable alternative to a coveted Lush product, sending shoppers rushing to their local Superdrug.

The Viral Discovery

Instagram user @vickaboox shared a video detailing her find: a body spray that mimics the beloved scent of Lush's Sticky Dates for a mere fraction of the price. In her now-viral clip, she promised to show viewers how to get the scent for just £2, or even less.

She headed into her local Superdrug, the exclusive stockist for this dupe, and made a beeline for the body spray aisle. There, she picked up the 'Sticky Toffee' fragrance, confidently declaring it smells "exactly like Sticky Dates but for £1.75".

Incredible Price Comparison

The price difference is staggering. While Lush's Sticky Dates body spray retails for £28, the Superdrug alternative is normally priced at £3.49 for a 100ml bottle. For Superdrug Members, the deal is even sweeter, as they can currently purchase it for half price.

@vickaboox also highlighted that a 'Pear Crumble' fragrance is available at the same bargain price. After smelling the Sticky Toffee spray, she described it as "very creamy" and immediately added it to her basket.

Completing The Scent Experience

For those who love a co-ordinated routine, the good news extends to the shower. A matching Sticky Toffee shower gel is also available. Members can snap this up for an astonishing 95p, while non-members pay £1.90 for a 250ml bottle.

This presents a massive saving compared to Lush's Sticky Dates shower gel, which starts at £6.50 for a much smaller 75g pot.

Initially disappointed to find the shower gel out of stock in the main aisle, @vickaboox's determination paid off. She found one last bottle near the till, opened it to test, and confirmed it "really smells like syrup", perfectly matching the Lush original. "Sticky Dates for 99p, insane," she exclaimed before purchasing her haul.

While the fragrances are reported to be very similar, it's always wise to remember that ingredient quality can differ between budget and premium products. Shoppers should consider what best suits their skin and personal needs before buying.
