Superdrug's £2 Sticky Toffee Spray Goes Viral as Lush Sticky Dates Dupe

A beauty enthusiast has gone viral after discovering a £2 body spray at Superdrug that she claims smells almost identical to Lush's popular Sticky Dates fragrance, which retails for £28.

Instagram user @vickaboox shared a video of herself heading to her local Superdrug store, where she found the 'Sticky Toffee' body spray for just £1.75. She described the scent as smelling "exactly like Sticky Dates". The spray usually costs £3.49 for 100ml, but Superdrug Members can currently get it for half price.

In addition to the body spray, @vickaboox also discovered a matching Sticky Toffee shower gel, priced at 95p for members or £1.90 for non-members. She noted that the shower gel "really smells like syrup", similar to the Lush version. Lush's Sticky Dates shower gel costs between £6.50 and £27 depending on size.

@vickaboox also highlighted a 'Pear Crumble' scent available at the same bargain price, which she described as "very creamy". She managed to purchase the last Sticky Toffee shower gel in her store, calling the find "insane" for just 99p.

The dupe has sparked excitement among fans of the Lush fragrance, though experts advise checking ingredients before purchasing, as the more expensive version may offer superior quality. The viral post has drawn attention to Superdrug's affordable alternatives.
