Sol de Janeiro has introduced a new Intense Perfume Mist collection, offering more concentrated versions of three Cheirosa fragrances, available at Boots for £34 each. The range includes two existing scents, Cheirosa 62 and Cheirosa 59, alongside a brand-new fragrance, Cheirosa 74.
New Intense Collection Details
Cheirosa 62, one of the brand's most recognisable fragrances, combines pistachio, almond, salted caramel and jasmine petals for a warm, indulgent gourmand scent with a creamy sweetness. Cheirosa 59 takes a deeper floral approach, blending white orchid, violet and jasmine sambac with toffee and sandalwood, resulting in a richer, more enveloping fragrance that balances soft florals with a warm, woody finish.
The new Cheirosa 74 opens with bright pineapple before developing into a sweeter blend of plum, orange flower and vanilla, creating a fruity, creamy profile. Sol de Janeiro describes the new scent as akin to the 'energy of a crowd at sunset'.
Fan Feedback on the New Mists
The Intense Perfume Mists have received mixed feedback from shoppers. One Cheirosa 74 user shared: "This was so lovely. The smell is wonderful, and it really does last longer. It is not overwhelming as one might think with the name saying intense. It is a new favourite for me."
Another added: "This new Cheirosa has quickly become my go-to for these last few days of summer (and I will probably continue using it as the weather turns cooler)! I am impressed with the intensity and how much longer the scent stays on my skin and clothes." However, one reviewer was less enthusiastic: "Sprayed it in cap at first, didn't like the smell at all. I sprayed it on my wrist, and once it settled, it smelled better, but I still didn't think it was great, ok, but not great."
Other New Fragrance Releases
Other fragrance launches this month include Dior's Sauvage Eau Forte (£109, The Perfume Shop), described as a fresh yet deeply warm aroma with cool spices, blanched lavender and musky wood notes. Jo Malone London has also added Hinoki & Cedarwood Cologne Intense (£110), blending clean, aromatic hinoki wood notes with deep, grounding cedarwood and an elegant herbal trail.
