Night Lark's Linen Print Coverless Duvet has been reduced by £15, bringing the double size down to £60 from £75 in the twilight blue colour. The coverless design removes the need for a separate duvet cover, and the brand says it comes with its own super soft cover, so there is no cover to remove or wrestle back on after washing. It can be put straight into the washing machine and dries in 90 minutes.
Sleep expert on the benefits
Sleep expert Kerry Davies told The Mirror that coverless duvets are a fresh and comfortable bedding option and can be a useful part of a good sleep routine. "Creating the right environment for sleep is an important part of winding down at the end of the day, and your bed naturally plays a big part in that. Having bedding that feels clean, fresh and comfortable can help make the bedroom feel like a more inviting place to relax and switch off," Davies said.
Davies also highlighted the role of temperature, saying: "Comfort isn't only about how bedding feels, either. Temperature plays an important role in sleep, so choosing bedding that helps you stay comfortably cool rather than becoming too warm during the night can also support a sleep-friendly environment." She added that anything making it easier to keep bedding clean and fresh can help, since washing and changing a duvet feels less like a chore.

Night Lark coverless duvet reviews
The Night Lark Linen Print Coverless Duvet holds high ratings on the brand's website, with 47 out of 50 reviewers (94%) recommending the product. One reviewer wrote: "So pleased with my purchase. I was waiting until I put it in my washing machine before I reviewed, I have a 9kg capacity machine and it was fine. Was a bit tight in my tumble dryer, as in it didn't move much when drying but was mostly dry when I took it out so I hung it over the banisters to finish off."
Another review said: "WONDERFUL! Lightweight but provides appropriate warmth. Beautifully made! And, a uniquely soft, silky feel to fabric." The reviewer noted that lighter coloured versions can look like a duvet without a cover, and added: "When buying, I wanted Twilight Blue but it was out of stock in 4.5 Tog ... I WILL be getting the 10.5 Tog in this colour for Winter .. one of my best buys for years."
