Sky Confirms Black Friday 2026 Sale Start Date

Sky has confirmed that its Black Friday 2026 sale will begin at 8am on Thursday, November 5, with a countdown timer now live on its website. The sale will feature discounts across Sky TV, Sky Broadband, Sky Glass, and Sky Mobile, with all deals available on Sky's dedicated deals page.

“Come back soon for Black Friday deals on Sky TV, Sky Broadband, Sky Glass and Sky Mobile,” Sky says. The announcement comes as retailers across the UK begin rolling out their own Black Friday promotions ahead of the main shopping event on November 27.

Previous Deals Offer Clues

While the full selection of deals has not yet been revealed, past promotions provide an indication of what shoppers might expect. Last year, Sky offered its Ultimate TV and Full Fibre 500 bundle for £39 per month, down from £44. That package currently costs £41, the same price as Sky Ultimate TV and Full Fibre Gigafast, so it could drop back to £39 or lower. Customers on this plan gain access to more than 140 channels, including Sky Atlantic, as well as free subscriptions to Netflix, HBO Max, and Disney+.

The Sky Glass range also saw significant discounts last year, with the Sky Glass Air and Sky Glass Gen 2 dropping to £3 and £11 per month respectively. These prices were available when taken alongside a Sky TV package starting at £15, with add-ons such as Sky Sports (£20) and Sky Cinema (£20) adding another £45 to the monthly cost.

Broadband and Mobile Expectations

Standalone broadband contracts may also see price cuts. Last year, these ranged from £25 for Full Fibre 150 to £38 for Full Fibre Gigafast. Currently, these plans cost £25 and £29 respectively, so prices could fall to between £20 and £25. Rivals such as Virgin Media are also expected to launch their own Black Friday sales, though Virgin has not yet set a date, only confirming it will happen at some point this month.

Sky Mobile is also expected to offer discounts on smartphones and tablets, based on last year's sale, which included reduced contracts on Samsung's Galaxy S25, Apple's iPad Air, and the MacBook Air M4. The Galaxy S26 is already reduced from £30 to £26 per month, and could go lower for Black Friday. Sky already offers one of the lowest prices around for the new iPhone 18 Pro at £38, so this may not see a significant discount. It is possible that 2026 models of the iPad Air and MacBook Air M5 could be reduced.

Other Offers and Price Increases

Elsewhere, Mobiles.co.uk has unveiled its own iPhone 18 Pro deal, offering 500GB for the price of 100GB on iD Mobile's £51.99 tariff, though there is a £75 upfront cost to secure the deal.

It is worth noting that prices on Sky's TV, broadband, and mobile contracts are expected to rise each year, typically around April, as firms increase monthly costs in line with inflation. Earlier this year, many customers saw a £3 increase to their monthly bill. An official announcement for 2027 has not yet been made.
