Shrimp Shack has opened its first venue outside London at Manchester's Printworks, bringing its signature seafood platters and boils to the city centre.
New Venue Details
The restaurant, which first launched in late 2023, has taken over the former Frankie and Benny's spot in the Printworks. It features a bold interior with bright yellow and blue booths, quirky neon signs including "Shrimply the best" and kissing lobsters, and seating for up to 140 guests, with an upstairs area for private dining or parties of up to 50.
Menu Highlights
The menu offers customizable shrimp platters with a choice of dips and sides, as well as signature boils served in a bag and released onto a platter at the table. Diners are provided with gloves and bibs. Boil prices range from £32.95 for one to £109.95 for the lux lobster boil sharer for two, and a "Big Boss Boil" for four is priced at £198.95.
Other options include a Shack Savers Selection at £19.95, a £10 Lunch Menu, small bites like salt and pepper shrimps (£9.50) and chicken wings (£8.50), plus non-seafood options such as chicken and beef burgers (£13.95) and prime steak (£23.95).
Drinks and Expansion
The venue also features a bar area with house cocktails at £9.95, premium cocktails at £11.95, and a range of soft drinks, smoothies, milkshakes, and mocktails.
Rish Gola, Co-Founder of Shrimp Shack, said: "Shrimp Shack was born in London to redefine how people enjoy premium seafood; served fresh and fast, where bold flavours are brought together with everyday dishes."
Dan Davis, General Manager at Printworks, added: "We’re delighted to have secured Shrimp Shack as Printworks’ latest tenant, its first location outside of London and another exciting restaurant to add to our offering."
Shrimp Shack has plans for further expansion, with locations in Leeds, Liverpool, and Luton set to be announced in the coming months. The Manchester restaurant is now open daily from noon.
