Amazon has cut £220 off the Shark Stratos Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner, bringing the premium model down to £279.97 from £499.99 in a limited-time deal. The cordless vacuum features Anti Hair Wrap Plus, which is said to deliver Shark's 'best ever hair pick-up' by removing hair from the brush roll while vacuuming.
It also comes with Clean Sense IQ technology, which is said to detect invisible dirt and automatically adjust cleaning power for effective cleaning on both carpets and hard floors. With two removable batteries, users can enjoy up to 120 minutes of run-time, and the batteries can be recharged either on or off the vacuum.
Design and Included Accessories
The vacuum weighs 2.16kg, making it easy to carry around the home, and can be used at full length or as a hand-held device. It comes with two batteries, a dual charging dock, and a range of tools including pet, crevice and multi-surface attachments, plus an anti-allergen brush and a tool bag.
Other cordless options on the market include the Dyson Cyclone V10 Total Clean Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, now £299 down from £449 at Currys, which offers up to 60 minutes of run-time and de-tangling technology. Lakeland also sells its 2-in-1 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner White for £99.99, which has handheld and floor modes, a high-power motor, four built-in LED lights for dark spaces, and up to 60 minutes of cleaning on a full charge.
Shopper Reviews
Shoppers who have bought the Shark Stratos have left positive reviews on Amazon. One wrote: "Wish I had bought it sooner. Easy to use. Very easy to manoeuvre. Eco setting to save battery or to boost for extra power. Great performance."
Another reviewer said: "I love Shark Ninja products and this new vacuum did not disappoint! It has great variable suction and battery lasts ages. There are two batteries so you can charge on whilst you use the other. Also has lights to illuminate surface you are cleaning. Lightweight. Easy to empty and clean. Vacuums really well."
A third shopper described it as: "A dream machine. Brilliant! How did I ever manage without it?"
One customer said they "love the powerful suction" but left a four-star review noting it "could have been lighter". Still, they said they "highly recommend" the vacuum cleaner.
Another reviewer, after using the vacuum for a couple of weeks, said: "It picks dust and hair up well on carpets and plumps up the fibres nicely too. It's great on hard floors too." They added: "It's not quite so good on stairs as our previous Dyson cordless vacuum. The dust bin is also rather small - I've had to empty it after every use. These minor criticisms aside though, I'm well pleased with it."
