The Blyss 2200W Electric Portable Convector Heater is available at Screwfix for £27.99. The retailer describes the unit as a “simple and stylish” way to warm up a room for less than 60p an hour, based on Ofgem's upcoming October price cap.

According to Screwfix's product description, the heater features variable digital control, a 24-hour timer and a remote control. The freestanding appliance includes an integrated handle for “easy movement” between rooms, built-in overheat protection and an LCD screen that displays the heat output.
