Customer Reactions and Product Details
The liqueur, described as the world's favourite Irish cream liqueur, combines premium Irish whiskey and spirits with rich Irish dairy, plus chocolate and vanilla flavours. It holds a 4.8 rating from more than 320 customers on the Sainsbury's website.
One reviewer wrote: "I bought this again after a few months of trying other drinks. It's absolutely delicious and can be used in many ways. Either as is with ice cubes or served over ice cream, or in hot coffee, or hot chocolate. Very versatile!" Another commented: "Bought three bottles as Christmas gifts. Wish I'd bought another one for my daughter and one for myself, as it's so rich and creamy and mouth-watering good."
A third customer said: "I picked up a bottle of Baileys during my weekly Sainsbury's shop, and it didn't disappoint. The flavour is rich, smooth, and creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness. It's perfect over ice in the evening or added to a coffee for a little treat. Great value when on offer, and I'll definitely be buying it again."
Price Availability and Other Offers
Sainsbury's has confirmed on its website that this price will only be available for delivery or collection until November 21. The supermarket has also reduced the price of Baileys x Terry's Chocolate Orange Irish Cream Liqueur, normally retailing at £17, to £11 for Nectar card holders—a saving of a third. That product has a rating of 4.7 based on 138 reviews.
For comparison, a one-litre bottle of Baileys is currently on sale for £13 at Morrisons, both in-store and online, with Amazon matching that price. Asda is also selling 1L bottles for £13, and Tesco is offering the same price to Clubcard members.
