Sainsbury's shoppers can save 25% on selected Taste the Difference wines, Champagne and sparkling bottles when buying three or more with a Nectar card. The offer applies to deliveries up to and including October 13, with exclusions including smaller bottles, boxed and fortified wines.
How the deal works
The promotion lets shoppers mix and match bottles, whether stocking up on favourites or trying something new. It requires scanning a Nectar card at checkout. Other retailers are running similar multibuy promotions: Morrisons offers 25% off when buying six bottles, Warehouse Wines gives new customers 35% off six bottles, and Tesco regularly runs 25% off six-bottle deals for Clubcard members.
White and rosé picks
The Taste the Difference Albarino White, at £12.50, is a fresh Spanish white with citrus and fruity notes. The Douro White, £10.50, has received five-star reviews, with one shopper calling it 'very sophisticated' and another saying it tastes "lovely and crisp without being too dry". A further review said: "You won’t be disappointed. Such nice flavours and a great dryness leading to a smooth aftertaste. Perfect with lemon sole type dishes. Also great with green or tomato salad."
For a budget option, the Val de Loire Blanc is £7.75. Among rosés, the Bordeaux Rosé is £9, the Pinot Grigio Dolomiti Blush Rosé is £8.75, and the Ile-de-Beaute Rose Wine is £9.50, or £7.13 each with the multibuy. One shopper described the latter as an "absolutely deliciously smooth Rose that can definitely rival Whispering Angel." Another said: "Have bought this wine more than once. It is an excellent Rose. Almost as good as Whispering Angel."
Red wines and fizz
The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, at £8.75, is included in the deal, as is the Rioja Gran Reserva at £16.50. One review called the Rioja a 'superb example of a Gran Reserva', while another said: "A fantastic, robust Rioja. This is full of rich flavours that you would expect from a good Rioja; dark fruits including deep cherry, blueberries, plums and a bit of spice and vanilla. Lovely deep colour. Great with rich meat dishes such as pork or beef but would also work well with cheese, a nice Manchego perhaps! Would definitely buy again. Good value."
For celebrations, the Blanc De Noirs Champagne is £26, dropping to £19.50 with the deal, and the Cremant d'Alsace is £12.50. The offer runs until October 13, 2026.
