Sainsbury's is offering Nectar members 25% off when they buy three or more bottles of selected Taste the Difference wine, Champagne and sparkling wine. The discount applies at checkout when shoppers scan their Nectar card, and runs on deliveries up to and including October 13, with some exclusions including smaller bottles, boxed and fortified wines.
Mix and match bottles
The offer allows shoppers to mix and match bottles, whether stocking up on favourites or trying something new. Sainsbury's Taste the Difference is the supermarket's premium own-brand range, offering carefully selected food and drink designed to deliver a more special taste and quality.
Other retailers are running similar multi-buy promotions. Morrisons is offering 25% off when customers buy six bottles, while Warehouse Wines is offering new customers 35% off when they buy six. Tesco also regularly runs similar 25% off promotions when buying six bottles for Clubcard members.
White wine picks
Among the white wines included, the Sainsbury's Taste The Difference Albarino White Wine is £12.50 a bottle, described as a fresh and vibrant Spanish white with bright citrus and fruity notes. The Taste the Difference Douro White at £10.50 is one of the highest rated tipples on the Sainsbury's website, with one shopper calling it 'very sophisticated' and another saying it tastes "lovely and crisp without being too dry".
Another five-star review explained: "You won’t be disappointed. Such nice flavours and a great dryness leading to a smooth aftertaste. Perfect with lemon sole type dishes. Also great with green or tomato salad." For a more budget-friendly choice, the Taste the Difference Val de Loire Blanc is £7.75, a light and refreshing French white.
Rosé and red options
In rosé, the Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Bordeaux Rosé is priced at £9 a bottle, made with Merlot grapes. The Taste the Difference Pinot Grigio Dolomiti Blush Rosé is £8.75 and included in the offer. The Sainsbury's Ile-de-Beaute Rose Wine is now £9.50 a bottle, or £7.13 each with the deal, with one shopper saying it is an "absolutely deliciously smooth Rose that can definitely rival Whispering Angel."
For reds, the Taste the Difference Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is £8.75 and included in the deal, while the Taste the Difference Rioja Gran Reserva is £16.50 per bottle. One five-star review called it a 'superb example of a Gran Reserva' while another added "A fantastic, robust Rioja. This is full of rich flavours that you would expect from a good Rioja; dark fruits including deep cherry, blueberries, plums and a bit of spice and vanilla. Lovely deep colour. Great with rich meat dishes such as pork or beef but would also work well with cheese, a nice Manchego perhaps! Would definitely buy again. Good value."
Fizz included
The deal also includes Prosecco and Champagne, with the Sainsbury's Blanc De Noirs Champagne at £26 per bottle potentially coming down to £19.50, and the Sainsbury's Cremant d'Alsace available for £12.50 a bottle. The offer is available for deliveries up to and including October 13, 2026.
