Sainsbury's has unveiled its Christmas range for the 2026 festive season, featuring over 330 new food and drink launches. The supermarket's focus this year is on its Taste The Difference Discover products, aiming to bring a restaurant experience into British homes while still offering budget-friendly options.
Nine Stand-Out Products for Festive Celebrations
Among the new offerings, nine items stand out for shoppers eager to try something different this Christmas. The Taste the Difference Discovery Mini Toad in the Holes, priced at £8 for a 12-piece pack, combines golden herby batter with premium British pork cocktail sausages and a rich pork stock and onion gravy. Available from December 16.
The Taste the Difference Coronation Chicken Croquettes with Mango Chutney, costing £5.50 for a pack of 10, offer a crisp and golden bite-sized treat with a soft filling. These hit shelves nationwide on November 18.
Sharing Dishes and Centrepieces
For sharing, the Taste the Difference Discovery Pigs in Blanket Wreath, at £12, serves around six people and features premium British pork pigs in blankets wrapped in buttery pastry with a sweet cranberry and clementine dipping sauce. Available from December 12.
The Taste the Difference King Prawn & Scallop Gratins, priced at £5 for a pack of two, are coated in Italian hard cheese and white wine sauce with crispy breadcrumbs, served in scallop shells. Available from October 18.
For larger gatherings, the Taste the Difference Discovery Hebridean Salmon & Scottish Langoustine En Croutes, at £9.95, serves nine and features responsibly sourced fish in all-butter pastry with a shellfish velouté. Available from December 9.
Desserts and Sweet Treats
The Taste the Difference Sticky Fig & Honey Glazed Gammon, at £25, serves up to 14 and offers a dry-cured gammon joint with a wild fig and wildflower honey glaze. Available from December 9.
For dessert, the Taste the Difference Sticky Toffee Winter Wonderland, priced at £12, serves eight and is an all-butter date sponge with salted caramel sauce and sugar snow. Available from December 20.
The Taste the Difference Pistachio Panettone, crafted in Tuscany by the Corsini family, costs £12, serves 10, and features a pistachio cream filling with candied fruits and chopped pistachios. Available from October 7.
Finally, the Taste the Difference Double Chocolate Mince Pies, at £3.50 for a pack of four, offer an all-butter chocolate pastry case with chocolate sauce and brandy-soaked mincemeat. Available from October 7.
