Plans have been submitted to South Lanarkshire Council to change the use of the former bank at 88 Main Street in Rutherglen into a betting office. The proposals include renovating the unit as well as making external alterations.
The application was received on May 22 and validated on June 2. Neighbour consultation was launched on June 2, and the deadline for determining the application is August 1.
This development could bring a new betting shop to the area, replacing the old bank premises. Local residents and businesses will have the opportunity to view the plans and provide feedback during the consultation period.
