The kettle is available in four colours - black, cream, grey and white - and features a premium plastic textured design complemented by sleek chrome. Other accents include a lift-off lid and a 'perfect pour spout'.
Shoppers praise speed and quiet boiling
The brand says the kettle is 'perfect for those with busy days', as it can boil one cup in 45 seconds. It has an easy-view water window which lights up blue once boiled, and includes a removable, washable anti-scale filter to help trap impurities in the water.
The kettle has received an overall average rating of 4.6 out of five stars, with more than 500 bought in the past month on Amazon. One shopper said: "Fabulous, looks good and matches our toaster. Boils really quickly and quietly."
Another added: "Very good. As advertised, it pours without drips. I like the feature of three red indicators inside, marking the water level for 1-3 cups, so I'm saving on water and electricity."
A third commented: "Love this kettle. It was a replacement for an identical one which I'd had and used for years. I have the toaster, so they're a great match. It is so easy to use, not noisy like some kettles, takes no time at all to heat, and boils enough for a pot of tea. It looks great, is a proper Russell Hobbs design and build, with a well-fitting, easily recoverable lid. Mixed feedback from some users
Some shoppers, however, left less positive feedback. While one described it as 'stylish' and 'lightweight', they added: "It's quieter than most kettles I've used, which I really like. However, I wouldn't say it boils especially quickly."
