The £55 Runderwear Tempo Running Bra has won over runners with larger busts, with shoppers describing it as a "game changer" that delivers a "no bounce" fit and minimal chafing during long-distance runs.
The Tempo Running Bra combines high-impact support with a comfortable, chafe-free fit designed to minimise bounce without restricting movement. Its seamless construction helps prevent digging and rubbing, allowing runners to focus on their pace. The bra features soft moulded cups for structure and shape without feeling bulky, adjustable straps for a customised fit, a convertible racer-back design and padded shoulder straps for freedom of movement with no pressure, no dig and no pull.
Fit and Sizing Support
Runderwear encourages customers to use its online Bra Sizing Calculator before purchasing, noting that sports bra sizes can differ from everyday bras due to different construction and support requirements. The Tempo Running Bra is available in 13 sizes, covering band sizes 32-38 and cup sizes C-E. The brand also offers a Perfect Fit Promise, which includes free delivery, free exchanges and expert fitting advice.
Additional features include a breathable mesh panel for airflow as body temperature rises, moisture-wicking fabric to draw sweat away from the skin, and a double clasp back for easier putting on and taking off after a workout. The bra is made with 92% recycled polyamide and 8% recycled elastane, with high-stretch fabric designed to retain its shape and recovery after repeated wear and washing.
Alternative Options
For runners seeking alternatives, the Lululemon Run Times Bra offers high support in cups B to G for £58, available in pink, navy or black. The Nike Rival provides ultra-high support and gentle padding for £79.99, with a choice of back measurements and cup sizes. The Under Armour Womens Infin High 2 Bra is available for £38 at Amazon, featuring moulded padding, breathable mesh panels and a sweat-wicking underband for high-intensity activities.
Shopper Reviews
Shopper Charlotte said: "The Bra's are great. For someone with larger breasts, the bras are comfortable and supportive for running without feeling like my chest and ribs are being compressed. I would however, follow the usual sports bra rules and go up a back size as this sports bra like others sits lower on the rib cage than a conventional bra."
Sion added: "Over recent years I have ran multiple long distance races and experienced terrible chafe, I didn't think anything would help after trying so many different bras and anti-chafe creams/ bars. I wore the Runderwear bra for the first time for the race (I know) but it actually worked! Had the least amount of chafing I've ever had after a long distance run. Absolutely worth every single penny and my only regret is not purchasing the bra sooner."
Tracy explained: "Absolutely love this bra; made the switch from Shock Absorber and glad I did. The sizing is spot on, it fits like a dream, feels wonderful & no bounce or roll ups- will buy more & wish I had bought it before. Very pleased and really would recommend."
Roseanne was less impressed, noting: "I bought a bra for running. Took a very long time to arrive which has put me off ordering from Runderwear again. But the running bra is great." Kat said: "The only sports bra that just fits right. Every single bra I tried (and there are a lot!) caused chafing near my armpits. This doesn't and it's so easy to get on and off. Absolute game changer and worth every penny!"
