Roku has launched two new projectors, and one has received a significant price cut at Amazon, dropping from £199.99 to just £129.98. The Aurzen Roku TV Smart Projector, released in May, offers a hassle-free way to enjoy a cinema-style experience without the need for a giant TV.
What the Roku Projector Offers
The projector can beam an image up to 150 inches onto any surface. It comes fully loaded with streaming apps including Netflix, BBC iPlayer, Disney+, and Apple TV, plus the Roku channel service for free content. Features include full HD 1080p resolution, different brightness levels, built-in Dolby Atmos-powered speakers, smart auto focus, a remote control, and AirPlay compatibility for iPhone users.
The only missing features are 4K visuals and portability, as it requires mains power.
Price and Availability
The deal is available at Amazon for £129.98, down from the original £199.99. Roku UK Country Manager Richard Halton said: “Projectors have long promised a cinematic experience, but often they’ve lacked the simplicity and intelligence consumers expect. With Roku TV Smart Projectors, we’re bringing the seamless streaming experience Roku users know and love to an exciting new form factor — making big-screen entertainment more accessible than ever.”
For comparison, other projectors on the market include the Samsung Freestyle (£399), Hisense 4K Pro (£899), and Samsung 8K Premier (£4,399).
