Rochelle Humes has spoken about the support she has received behind the scenes as she prepares to launch her new skincare brand, Eulah, describing the upcoming days as "the biggest week of my life."
From Pop Stardom to Business Ventures
The singer and presenter first found fame as part of S Club Juniors, the spin-off of British pop group S Club 7, alongside Frankie Bridge in the early 2000s, before the pair later joined The Saturdays in 2007. The group went on hiatus in 2014, with each member pursuing individual career paths. Rochelle has since moved into TV presenting and established several businesses, including baby and family brand My Little Coco.
Earlier this month, Rochelle announced her latest venture, a skincare brand named Eulah, after her middle name. She had been working on the launch for a while, documenting parts of the process on her private Instagram page, Roch Builds a Brand. Now, she has revealed the brand's name and further details about its launch.
Preparing for Launch Week
With the launch taking place this week, Rochelle shared a post on social media on Sunday (September 27), having spent time with her loved ones ahead of the busy working week. She told her followers: "A Sunday well spent before the biggest week of my life [face holding back tears and heart emojis]."
She later shared another post as she enjoyed some self-care with a red light mask, saying: "The calm before the crazy! I've got a body full of excitement and nerves in equal measure. This week is one I've been dreaming about for so long... [face holding back tears emoji]."
Working with a Life Coach
Amid the launch, Rochelle appeared on Tim Campbell's podcast, re:WORKING, where she discussed her decision to build her own business, self-belief, and why she now works with a life coach. She explained that she has worked with a life coach for several years, describing the experience as focused on moving forward and setting goals rather than revisiting the past.
"I have a life coach now, I've had a life coach for a couple of years. I always say it's like therapy with a goal; it's not like necessary unpicking anything old it's how do we move ahead and that's sort of my moto for life," she said.
Tim compared life coaching with the approach taken by elite performers in sport and music, saying: "If you want to be a better singer or better footballer, no one blinks an eyelid to get a coach, so why won't you have one for your life?"
Agreeing, Rochelle added: "That is actually such a good point and again its very British of us, we sort of a bit like oh she's in therapy at the minute like it's a bad thing, you go to America and they are like 'oh I can't see you today babe I've got therapy' it's like such a different outlook on life."
