Pureseoul, the UK's largest Korean beauty retailer, has confirmed it will open its first Scottish store in Edinburgh's St James Quarter by the end of August. The announcement marks a significant milestone for the brand, which has been expanding across the UK.

The new Edinburgh store will stock more than 2,000 products from some of Korea's most influential brands, with some items exclusive to the UK. Customers can expect skincare advice, personalised product recommendations, and the latest K-beauty innovations all under one roof.

Brand growth and reputation
Founded in 2019, Pureseoul began as an online shop with just five brands. Today, it has become the UK's top-rated and largest Korean beauty store, offering more than 70 famed and cult-favourite brands, including Beauty of Joseon, COSRX, Medicube, and BIODANCE. The retailer holds an average Trustpilot rating of 4.4 out of five.
The Edinburgh branch will be the 17th UK store for Pureseoul, following recent openings in Bath, Cardiff, Newcastle, and Canary Wharf. Its most recent opening was in Lakeside on August 3.
Context in Edinburgh's beauty scene
The arrival of Pureseoul follows the opening of Scotland's first Sephora in St James Quarter on July 9, which drew large queues. The shopping destination also houses H Beauty by Harrods, a 21,000 sq. ft emporium that opened in 2021, featuring a champagne bar, mask bar, virtual try-on departments, and interactive play tables.
