PureGym has confirmed it is opening a new 24-hour gym at Fforestfach Retail Park in Swansea. The company's website states the branch is "opening soon" at the site, which is understood to be the former Homesense store.
Former Homesense location
Homesense closed its doors at the retail park in March 2023 and subsequently opened a new store at Trostre Retail Park in Llanelli instead. PureGym has not yet revealed its exact opening date.
Membership will cost £12.99 per month for the first 12 months, with a £15 joining fee and no contract required. The company says membership will include more than 120 pieces of equipment, classes, and personal trainers.
What the gym offers
PureGym's website adds: "PureGym Swansea Fforestfach is opening soon." It goes on to say: "Our gym in Swansea is packed with the latest kit, including free weights, fixed resistance machines and cardio equipment, to help you smash your fitness goals."
The company also notes that memberships are contract free and classes are included. The gym is located on Fforestfach Retail Park, nearby Tesco and McDonald's, with free parking available nearby.
