Primark's Viral Gym Leggings Put to the Test: A Surprising Verdict

A shopper has tested Primark's new gym wear, including the viral £10 Performance Chevron Ribbed Leggings, and found the quality nearly matches top brands. The full outfit, costing just £28, impressed during a high-movement gym class.

The Liverpool Echo reporter purchased the leggings, a £12 Performance Ribbed Insert Half-Zip Top, and a £6 Performance Racerback Crop Top from Primark's Liverpool store. Despite some items being unavailable in her size, she chose the dark grey leggings for versatility, paired with a colourful half-zip top and supportive grey crop top.

During testing, the leggings fit 'like a glove' and did not budge, outperforming her Nike leggings. The half-zip top's thumb holes prevented sleeves from rolling up and acted as gloves for weight lifting. However, the crop top lacked sufficient support due to choosing the wrong size.

The shopper concluded she will buy more Primark gym wear, praising the comfort and durability. The only downside was limited size availability for some popular items.
