Primark shoppers are 'so impressed' by a new £19 activewear set that has been compared to high-end brand Alo. The budget-friendly fashion retailer's fitness range is gaining attention on social media, with one shopper suggesting it offers 'the Alo look without the Alo price'.
TikTok user @Thelsedit shared a video trying on pieces from Primark's new activewear line, including the £10 Rita Ora Scoop Back Performance Tee and the £9 Rita Ora High Waisted Active Shorts, totalling £19 for the set. She praised the 'gorgeous open-back T-shirt' for giving 'clean, expensive Pilates-girl vibes' and described the leggings as 'super thick and feels really high-quality'.
The shopper noted that the waistband is 'extra thick, sucks you in' and that the shorts 'highlight all of the right areas'. In her caption, she wrote: 'POV: you want the Alo look without the Alo price.' For comparison, an Alo Alosoft Back For More Tee costs £68, and the 7/8 High-Waist Airbrush Leggings are priced at £82 (currently on sale).
Viewers were enthusiastic, with comments such as 'Omg I loveee the colour', 'Looks very good and the price wowee', and 'Primark is soo good atm'. Thelsedit replied, 'Isn't it!! I was so impressed!'
