Shoppers are rushing to buy Primark's £13 Christmas pyjamas, which have been described as "so similar" to a £245 Ralph Lauren version, offering a saving of £232.
The teddy bear pyjamas, available in-store and online, have been dubbed "gorgeous" by fans. One shopper, Lauryn Griffiths, shared her discovery on social media after visiting her local Primark, noting the viral Christmas pyjamas looked "incredible."
Designer-Inspired Styles
Griffiths compared the first pair she showed on camera to Ralph Lauren pyjamas. While they are not as luxurious as the £245 original, they are a decent option for those on a budget. The boyfriend pyjama set features a dark green colour with teddy bears, tartan bows, and gifts, making it look designer-inspired.
She also praised a similar set with a different design, featuring gingerbread houses, bows, and gingerbread men on a baby pink background. For those who prefer plainer styles, plain red pyjamas are also available, which are seasonal but could be worn year-round.
Other Designs and Customer Reactions
The range also includes mistletoe designs, stockings, and Christmas trees, as well as a design resembling the Jellycat Bartholomew bear with a Christmas tree hat and bow. Griffiths said, "I know some people say it's too early for Christmas pyjamas, but I am not one of those people. I just know these are all gonna sell out so fast, so girlies, take this as your sign and run to Primark to get your Christmas pyjamas."
In the comments, one shopper wrote, "Wow, love, I need to get to Primark!! Got Primark's Christmas bear ones last year, very good quality, so comfy!" Another commented, "I love Christmas, but they need to wait till after Halloween." A third said they hadn't "even picked up Autumn pyjamas yet," and Griffiths responded that she needed to "treat" herself before they sell out.
The news comes as Primark announced this month that it is finally set to introduce online deliveries, decades after its rivals.
