Parents can effectively get Play-Doh's 2026 Holiday Advent Calendar for free through a 3 for 2 offer at True Toys. The calendar, which normally retails at £19.99, is currently priced at £14.99, but the deal means it can be obtained without direct cost when two other calendars are purchased.
How the 3 for 2 deal works
The promotion, running until November 30 2026, requires the code ADVENT342 to be applied at checkout. Two calendars must be paid for to secure the free third item. True Toys offers free delivery on orders of £19.99 and above; orders below that threshold incur a £3.99 delivery charge for mainland UK addresses, with delivery taking 2-4 days.
The Play-Doh calendar is aimed at children aged three years old and over. It contains 24 days of surprises, including festive moulds and cutters, designed to keep children occupied in the run-up to December 25.
Other calendars included in the offer
Also part of the deal is the Toy Mania 24-Day Sensory Advent Calendar, which features 24 sensory surprises such as squishy, stretchy and fidget toys. For children aged six and over, the MEGA Pokémon Holiday Advent Calendar is available at £12.99, reduced from £29.99, and includes buildable Pikachu and Piplup alongside poseable figures in festive outfits. The Marvel Advent Calendar 2026, priced at £29.99, is also included in the promotion.
Elsewhere, JoJo Maman Bébé's Gingerbread House Christmas Advent Calendar costs £22 at Next, while Boots sells the Mattel Disney Princess Small Doll Advent Calendar for £24.99, which includes 24 days of surprises.
Shopper reviews and feedback
True Toys holds a rating of 4.6 out of five stars on reviews.io. One shopper said: "Very good service, excellent selection and goods delivered on time." Another commented: "Got my kids' toy delivered promptly in good condition and at better than half the price competitors were trying to charge for it."
On Amazon, where the Play-Doh calendar remains a popular choice, one reviewer wrote: "Very cute advent calendar for little play dough lovers, and the box is cute too! Easy to open, creates a good set to play with once complete, although better if you already have Play-Doh to use while waiting for more to open!" A second reviewer said: "Amazing advent. Bought on offer. Brilliant value for money. Play-Doh tub everyday, some sort of tool and also sometimes get cardboard accompanying part I.e. the tree. Really great advent. One of the best we've had!"
One 2025 review noted a minor issue: "Fun advent calendar for my 3 year old. You get a new Play-Doh everyday and some sort of Play-Doh toy. The box ripped when I tried to open it so we have to be extra careful when we open each of the doors. The Play-Doh feels just like you expect it to. It's not over sticky and the colours are bright." Another reviewer added: "Brilliant. Really great if your kid is really into Play-Doh, he's been excited every morning to open it. Great buy."
