John Lewis shoppers can pick up the Paddington Bear Wooden Tea Party Play Set for as little as £8.16 thanks to a TopCashback deal, down from its usual £20 price.
The department store's wooden playset is designed for imaginative role-play, helping children develop fine motor control, social skills and sharing. It features a light blue colour scheme decorated with Paddington Bear illustrations and orange accents, with pieces styled to look like a classic British afternoon tea.
How the deal works
TopCashback is offering new members and new John Lewis customers a free £15 sign-up bonus, plus cashback on purchases of £15 or more. This brings the playset to £3.66, or £8.16 with delivery. Existing TopCashback members are not eligible for the £15 bonus but will still receive cashback, making the set £18.66, or £23.16 with delivery.
Standard delivery costs £4.50, or is free on orders of £50 or more. Cashback is not paid instantly and can take up to seven days to land in accounts.
Alternative tea sets
Elsewhere, the Peppa Pig Wooden Tea Set is available for £16.99 at Argos, featuring 19 pieces including a teapot, cups, spoons and treats on a serving tray. The Cath Kidston x Wallace and Gromit Orange/Blue Tin Toy Tea Set costs £25 at Next, crafted from durable tin with a vibrant orange and blue colour scheme.
The Paddington Bear set has yet to receive any reviews from shoppers. While wood is durable and eco-friendly, painted toys are prone to chipping when dropped, and wooden toys cannot be fully submerged in water to be washed if they get dirty.
