OneBeyond, a discount store rival to Poundland, is opening its doors in Wigan this week. The retailer sells thousands of products for £1, including cleaning products, pet supplies, beauty and personal care, toys, tech accessories and more.

The new shop will open inside the Grand Arcade Shopping Centre in Wigan town centre at 10am on Friday, July 24. The retailer said: "Wigan, get ready. This Friday, July 24th at 10am, your brand new OneBeyond store opens its doors. £1 deals on top brands and everyday essentials. Don't miss out."
Location and expansion
Greater Manchester is already home to a number of OneBeyond shops, including stores in Rochdale, Bury, Middleton, Hyde in Tameside and at Manchester Fort Retail Park in Cheetham Hill. The new store will occupy the unit previously used by The Drop. Grand Arcade already houses other discount stores including Poundland and Savers.
