However, Lady's Well Walk has a high percentage of total woodland within a one-kilometre distance of the route, at 74.34%.
In first place is a walk in Ashridge Estate in Hertfordshire, with a score of 9.53 out of 10. While its woodland coverage is lower at 59.7%, the study reveals that 96.1% of this is broadleaf trees, considered especially scenic because changing leaves create a colourful backdrop.
