Shapes, the tucked-away coffee shop on Newcastle's Castle Stairs, will serve customers for the last time this weekend, with the final day falling on Sunday 13th September, the same day as the Great North Run.
The venue, which opened towards the end of last year, became a popular spot among those in the know, gaining a following on Instagram as more people discovered its location near Newcastle Castle.
