MySweetSmile has cut the price of its strawberry-flavoured Teeth Whitening Powder by half, reducing it from £29.99 to £14.99. The product is designed to be added to toothpaste during a brushing routine and is being promoted as a cost-effective way to brighten a smile at home.
The brand says the powder lifts yellowing caused by ageing, coffee, tea, wine and smoking, removing stains that toothpaste leaves behind. It claims the product gives whiter teeth in 14 days, with visible results starting to show from the first few uses, and says it is dentist-approved and enamel safe, causing zero sensitivity. Each jar contains a six-month supply, with each use working out at around 32p.
Customer reviews and results
The powder has received high praise online, with users sharing their results. Though the brand says it takes 14 days of repeated daily use to see results, some buyers say they noticed a change in a single use. One person who purchased the mint variety on Amazon said: "It works. After drinking shed loads of coffee daily, my husband’s teeth had long forgotten what white looked like!"
Another reviewer of the strawberry variety commented: "This is my second jar, my teeth were going yellowish, used this for a few weeks and my teeth are lovely and white. Really works." A different user wrote: "Old teeth (which I am so lucky to have) are really whitening. Really good, first brush could see difference. Continuing, I am very pleased - non smoker but my teeth are now old and I am delighted."
Alternatives and availability
One reviewer noted a brown stain on a front tooth, saying: "I have to say, I wasn’t expecting miracles and I was very sceptical but after the very first use the stain had 90% gone, after the second time using it the stain vanished completely! I was so impressed with the results!" A Trustpilot reviewer added: "I wish I had come across this product months ago! Fantastic results, my teeth are definitely much whiter. I love the strawberry taste and then afterwards with my regular toothpaste."
The powder also comes in a mint flavour, currently priced at £24.99 down from £29.99. The high street offers alternatives, with Smile Therapy's PAP+ Teeth Whitening Powder costing £19.99 down from £39.99, and the Marvis Whitening Toothpaste available at LookFantastic for £9. One reviewer deducted a star, saying: "Seems to be working, slowly. It's ok, a little over priced."
