Marks & Spencer will open a new Food Hall at Poole Retail Park on 12 August, taking over a former Homebase unit that has been vacant since February 2025.
Marks & Spencer said: “We’re bringing new life to this well-known site by transforming it into a modern, welcoming store that meets the needs of local residents while creating new jobs and enhancing the local retail offer. Our plans will bring this empty building back into viable use with a high-quality M&S Foodhall.”
The new opening will support the regeneration of a key local site and deliver significant economic benefits for Poole and the wider area.
New stores confirmed
The retailer also confirmed two more locations will open after the summer. The new stores will offer customers “convenient shopping in a modern and attractive setting”.
The new Food Halls will feature a dedicated flower shop, fresh produce sourced from M&S’ Select Farm Partners, an award-winning wine selection, an in-store bakery with fresh pastries, and a coffee counter with barista-made drinks.
