Marks & Spencer has launched its 'Home at Christmas' campaign alongside its new festive food range, featuring a starry TV advert and a full menu of Christmas dishes available to order for collection between 22 and 24 December.
The campaign brings together food, fashion, home and beauty for the first time since 2017, with award-winning actor James Norton and Amandaland's Lucy Punch starring in the advert. Katherine Jenkins OBE makes a special appearance and provides the recorded soundtrack, reimagining Heaven Is a Place on Earth for the season.
A Starry Festive Campaign
In the advert, Norton plays an incognito Santa who leaves the North Pole after encouragement from Mrs Claus, played by Punch, to experience Christmas from a different perspective. The storyline follows him through the moments that make the season special, from getting dressed up and gathering around a table of food to choosing gifts and transforming the home.
The message is that M&S is there for every festive moment, from pyjamas—Punch's striped pair costs £35—to party food, sparkly dresses, gifting and turkey centrepieces. One in three Christmas turkeys sold in the UK come from M&S, and the retailer sells around three mince pies every second.
How to Order Your Christmas Food
To secure a preferred collection slot at a local store, customers are advised to book as early as possible. After paying a £50 deposit, shoppers can browse the selection and build their Christmas feast. Between 22 and 24 December, they can collect their order and pay the remaining balance.
The range includes 25 starter options, such as the Build by Numbers Charcuterie & Antipasti Grazing Platter, Ultimate Luxury Shellfish Platter, Brie en Croûte, and a British 32 Piece Garnish Selection.
Mains, Sides and Turkeys
For the main course, M&S offers beef, outdoor-bred pork, or slow-roasted lamb as alternatives to turkey, alongside dishes like British Beef Wellington and lobster tails with langoustine and garlic butter. Sides include Goose Fat Roasting Potatoes, British Baby Parsnips, and Bubble & Squeak Vegetable Stacks.
Turkey options range from Free Range turkeys serving up to 10 guests to turkey crowns serving up to 14. Plant-based diners can choose from a nut roast, no turkey crown, or wellington, with vegetarian and vegan sides available.
Desserts and Final Touches
The dessert selection features a 12 Month Matured Christmas Pudding, a Best Ever Yule Log, and a British Cheeseboard Selection for those who prefer savoury endings. The full festive range is available to order now, with collection slots running from 22 to 24 December.
