At a recent M&S Christmas showcase, product developers highlighted how fashion trends influence the creativity of the own-brand seasonal fare. The range includes party food, picky bits, snacks, and desserts, with options for budget shoppers as well as those looking to splurge.
Having spoken to product developers and sampled many highlights, here are 11 products expected to fly off the shelves.
Standout desserts and party food
The Passion Fruit and White Chocolate Yule Log (serves 10, £15.50) is a new light and zingy dessert made with real passion fruit purée and creamy white chocolate, positioned as a showstopping centrepiece.
For party food, the Prawn Toast Cones (£7.50) offer a crispy twist on a classic, best enjoyed with sweet chilli sauce. The Creamy Chicken, Bacon & Leek Pie (serves 6, £35) serves as a turkey alternative for smaller festive gatherings or part of a larger selection.
Snacks and treats for festive gifting
The Merry Malt Balls (£8) come in a large box filled with milk, blond, dark, and white chocolate malt balls, each with a rich flavour suited for party guests or gift recipients.
The full range is now available in stores and online, with further new items expected to be revealed as the festive season approaches.
