M&S Café unveils Christmas menu with new toastie

Marks & Spencer has launched its festive café menu across all 200 M&S Café locations in the UK, introducing the retailer's first-ever Sweet Caramel Apple Toastie alongside returning favourites and new drinks and desserts.

New and returning savoury items

The Sweet Caramel Apple Toastie, priced at £6, features layers of Bramley apple compote and vanilla custard in cinnamon-topped brioche-style bread, served with a pot of caramel dipping sauce. The viral Slow-Cooked Beef Yorkshire Pudding Wrap returns, joined by a new Pigs Under Blankets Wrap, both priced at £8.50.

Shoppers can also choose a Turkey Feast Toastie for £7.50, with a gluten-free version at the same price, and add a Gravy Dipping Pot for an extra £1. Other options include the French Brie & Cranberry Toastie at £6.95 and a Christmas sandwich selection pack at £5.25. For soup lovers, there is a Turkey & Beechwood Smoked Ham Soup for £6.50.

Festive drinks and sweet treats

The drinks menu includes a £5.50 Caramelised Apple Matcha with creamy cold foam, plus a Malt Ball Hot Chocolate, Malt Ball Milkshake, and Butterscotch Gingerbread Latte (served iced or hot), each priced at £4.75. From every cup sold, 1p is donated to the A Cup of Ambition fund, which supports producers' livelihoods and climate resilience.

Bakery and dessert offerings include a Clementine, Cranberry & Almond Bundt cake at £3.75, a Penguin Iced Biscuit at £2, a Chocolate Orange Muffin at £2.25, a Chocolate, Caramel & Cornflake Cookie at £1.25, an M&S Collection Mince Pie at £2, and a Rodney Reindeer Chocolate Cake at £5.50.

Early fan reactions

Within a day of launch, the menu has drawn praise on social media. Jane Brewster wrote on Facebook, 'These look sooo nice,' while Beverly Flanagan called the range 'amazing!' Hannah Freestone said, 'Need to try the Yorkshire pudding wrap,' and Kendta Ward described it as 'Looks unreal.' On Instagram, @adashandasplash called it 'a major feast,' and @mirifiquebeauty1 said they were 'salivating' at the thought.

Some commenters asked for more plant-based options. An M&S spokesperson responded to one commenter, saying, 'We don't have any new vegan options on our Christmas café menu I'm afraid, but I've let our Food Team know this is something you'd love to see from us moving forward.'
