Shoppers can save £120 on a powerful carpet cleaner designed to tackle everything from dried-on stains to dirt buried deep within carpet fibres. The MOVA Carpet X3 Pro Steam Carpet Cleaner usually costs £299, but a deal stack brings the price down to £179.10 when combining its current sale price of £199 with the code AUTUMN10 at Yimbly - an online marketplace owned by this site's parent company, Reach Plc.
Steam and suction power
The carpet cleaner uses high-temperature steam to help break down stubborn stains, including dried coffee, alongside 17,000Pa suction to pull dirt and dirty water from carpet fibres. Its upholstery spot-cleaning mode extends its use beyond floors, allowing shoppers to tackle smaller areas on sofas, stairs and other suitable upholstered surfaces.
A large dual-tank system keeps clean and dirty water separate during cleaning, while the machine has been designed with easier handling in mind despite its powerful performance. The black carpet cleaner weighs 13.2kg and measures 113.6 x 32.3 x 44.9 cm.
Alternative carpet cleaners
Another option is the CarpetXpert Deep Carpet Cleaner with Built-In StainStriker for £249.99, down from £299.99, at Shark. This one combines a deep carpet cleaner with a built-in stain and spot cleaner and is said to be perfect for 'deep cleaning carpets, rugs and upholstery'.
QVC has its Hoover Turbo Clean Wet & Dry Cordless Washer and Vacuum for £279.96 as well. It can tackle everyday messes and is said to have up to 40 minutes of runtime.
Shopper reviews
As it is a relatively new launch, the MOVA Carpet X3 Pro Steam Carpet Cleaner doesn't have any reviews yet, but other MOVA models have been rated highly. For example, over at Amazon, shoppers have rated the Mova S2 Cordless Stick Vacuum positively.
One person said in their review, which has been translated to English: "I bought the vacuum cleaner for our rugs. Since we have a dog and our old vacuum cleaner doesn't have a carpet cleaner, we opted for this vacuum cleaner. The hair and lint are absorbed very well, the articulated joint is very practical. The accessories are completely sufficient. We are satisfied with the suction power, the battery is also OK."
Another added: "I only had it for a short time but I'm very satisfied. Can easily keep up with my Dyson (older model) and doesn't even cost half as much. I would recommend Mova."
At Trustpilot, buyers have also shared their thoughts on Yimbly as a brand. This person said: "The customer service is unbelievable. 10/10."
Some disagreed slightly, with one person writing: "Good product but had problems with putting it together." Another said: "Good product. Shame about delays with the delivery company."
