Morrisons Salad Bar Gets Major Expansion with New Toppings and Protein Pots

Morrisons has announced a significant update to its salad bars across the UK, with new toppings, dressings, and protein-rich options rolling out from April 13. The supermarket, known for its market-style counters, aims to offer customers more choice for creating customised dishes.

The refreshed salad bar includes new protein options such as Roast Cooked Chicken Breast Chunks and Tikka Cooked Chicken Breast Chunks, alongside existing favourites like boiled eggs, falafel, and chickpea salads. Prices start at £2.75 for a small container, while a medium container can be bought as part of a Food To Go meal deal for £3.75. A new extra-large Family Salad Tub (£5.95) features five separate sections for sharing.

Morrisons sells approximately 370,000 salad bar boxes per week during summer. The new protein pots are now included as snack options in the meal deal. Customers who purchase any salad bar item between April 13 and 26 and scan their More Card will be entered into a prize draw to win a year's worth of salad bar tubs.
